Howard Price Turf Equipment Retirement Closing After 54 Years
Howard Price Turf Company located in Chesterfield, Missouri is selling its manufacturing assets at auction through GRS Auction & Strategic Liquidation. The auction is closing online on April 4 & 5 at GRSAuctions.com and features over 500 manufacturing and machine shop tools and equipment.
Howard Price founded his Turf Equipment in 1966 when He designed wing cutting units and adopted them to a Yazoo mower. In 1973 full production started in Chesterfield with a line of hydraulic out-front mowers.
Price led industry innovation beginning with the Hydropower 180 the first all-hydraulic, self-contained, find cut 15’ rotary mower and the first out front diesel rotary mower on the market. Many of his innovative designs are being used by other large mower manufacturers.,
The 60,598-SF manufacturing facility located at 18155 Edison Avenue in Chesterfield is seeking a new tenant and is being represented by PACE Properties.
Price is liquidating all manufacturing and machine shop equipment including Amada Pega Turret Press, Amada RG-100 Press, Chicago Steel Break, Dumor Vertical Miller, Clark, and Datsun Forklifts, Howard Price 360Z, Accushear Sheet Metal Shear, other presses, punches, Miller welders, tools and compressors.
